Straight-up.

Finally! Someone gives me a straight-up answer. Or maybe other people have, but I wasn't ready to hear it. I called Jake to ask him about Joe, because I know he knows how Joe feels on the topic. I asked Jake if I should tell Joe and he finally tells me how it is.

The thing is, I already knew what the answer was going to be. One thing Jake said that really helped was, "When you like someone, I mean you REALLY like someone, your mind tricks you into twisting the reality around you. You could even deny gravity".

For the longest time the response I always got was, "Do what your heart says" I DON'T KNOW WHAT MY HEART IS SAYING! Everyone I asked always had my best interest in mind, but they didn't want to hurt me. They were hopeful for me so they gave me hopeful answers. They played along with the so called "signs" I was seeing.

So I call Jake, I knew I would get a logical answer. He tells me to forget it. In a extremely nice way, but he finally told me.
Why did it take me this long to listen to what people were saying?

Joe and I will never be, I've only twisted reality into fitting my dreams.
