Nightmares.

I almost dread going to sleep now. I've had a nightmare for the past 3 nights. I'm seeing a commonality in them, and each of them have some part of death in them.

Sunday night:
I dreamt of sitting up in my bed after waking, and there was a coffin at the end of it. This man walks in crying and tells me that his sister is dead in the coffin. All of a sudden after he leaves I hear banging on the coffin and it slowly creaks open. This woman with maybe 3 strings left of hair and green glowing eyes sits up and stares at me. She talks to me, but I can't remember now what she says.

Monday night:
I'm in a house that I can't recognize and this man walks up to me, and he seems like a nice guy. In the middle of his speaking to me his eyes, once again, turn green and he growls at me. I only think to run, and he chases me to this house. I walk in and there is a family sitting at the dining room table and they motion for me to come on in. I don't know this family. The man won't enter this house. Once I see that he is gone I walk out of the house, but it isn't a street anymore, it's a laundry room. A little boy walks in, and the same thing happens with him. This time I had a spike in my hand and stabbed him through the back of his head and he shriveled up and was steaming.

Tuesday night:
Even though this is the most recent, all I can remember is being chased by ghosts.

Demonic spirits maybe?
I don't know, but I don't like it and I dread going to bed tonight.

  1. Hey. I like your new layout.
    Is very like a newspaper.
    I can comment! :D
P.S. if you ever need me to do some code work for you I'd be more than willing.

I'm buying you a dream catcher for your birthday. That's creepy man... You have scary dreams a lot... that white room dream freaked me out. All I would figure is evil spirits. Try sleeping with your Bible. (:

Did you know Melanie has nightmares all the time? This reminds me of that. Maybe she could give you some advice too. (:

  4. Demons don't exist. When one sleeps, the brain basically reworks and goes over everything it did during the day, so that it can run better the next day. It's like rebooting a computer. I don't know anything about your situation, but psychological factors like depression and stress often cause nightmares because that's the kind of stuff the brain is focused on. Also, don't eat before bed, because that boosts brain activity, and makes nightmares more likely.

Radiolab did something on dreams, it really helps explain how dreams work and why we dream what we dream, you should give it a listen
