For a while now I've been like "Man I really want to do something to help in the water crisis." I found a charity that is called Charity: Water, and they have a program where your school (along with 3 other schools) raise money to put proper sanitation and clean water in a school in Africa.
I fiddled around with the idea for a while, and I finally went to talk to my principal about getting it started. He really liked the idea and thought that it could work. First step: Check. Now the superintendent has to say yes, and I might have to present something to the school board (bleck).
Anyway, I am SO EXCITED for this. Josie and I have already been thinking up ideas to fundraise. This thing is a semester long project and the goal is $5,000.
So if all goes well, I will find out early-mid January if I can do this or not.
