Rant.

Why does drinking appeal to people? Really.
I find no humor in drunken stupor.
It tastes awful.
You lose yourself.
You lose relationships.
You think you're building relationships with people, but the next day do you remember what you talked about?

"Oh it is just a little bit. And you see the drunken people out there? Yeah, that isn't what it really is like."
Yeah, well how do you think those people became the way they are? By starting out with just a little bit. Don't sit there and tell me that you have no intentions of becoming that way. You used to think drinking was stupid in the first place. So as you can see, your intentions tend to change when it comes to the subject.

  2. Let's bounce off each other about this! It makes me mad like no other because it makes me think about my dad.

  3. Hehe. I love it when females rant. It's so lovely. (:

And I agree with most of that.
However, I like the idea of drinking for the art of the way alcoholic drinks are made. There are so many different varieties and tastes.
I wouldn't mind one glass of wine at dinner because it's relaxing after making an exasperating meal or a few sips of different wines at a wine tasting to find new tastes that I like.
I just tried a German Raspberry beer tonight and I LOVED it. It was the best tasting alcohol I've ever had. I intend to buy a few bottles of it and put them back when I'm old enough. Alcohol is always better when it's older.
... It's just the art. I appreciate it responsibly.
I in no way, shape, or form NEED it to make me happy and I in no way, shape, or form approve of anyone getting drunk off of it.

Those are just my thoughts on alcohol in general that I wanted to share. Lol.

  4. ^I'll actually agree with this in a way. Not everyone drinks to get drunk, and if anything, they deserve a bit of respect for showing a little self-control. I'll stick with soda as my poison though. An unhealthy body is one thing, but I'm not letting anything fuck with my brain.

  5. I can appreciate that you appreciate it Hannah. I just can't do it for myself. I don't want that stuff in my body.
I see what it does to people. I see what it does to families that I care for. I don't even want to touch it.
