Ladies night was great! I laughed until my cheeks hurt, ate until I couldn't eat anymore, and man-bashed like there was no tomorrow. Oh, and my nails! It's been a while since I've had my nails done. They look nice.
:]
I went to a barbecue at Jennifer's house for her youth group on Saturday night. Nick came as well...:]. Anyway, the kids did a devotion outside while the adults had their own time inside. During the devotion Jennifer asked us to write down 3 people that you admire, look up to, or they inspire you. We were then asked to say them out loud. We got around the entire circle and got to Nick. I didn't expect him to say anything because the last time we went around the circle saying things, he skipped.
So he says:
1. My Parents.
2. My priest at the church I went to growing up.
3. Megan.
Nobody else said a person under the age of 30.

-------------
For the sake of time I'll just make this story short.
Russell, Nick (looking for a new catholic church), Jennifer, and I all attended her church yesterday morning. Russell and I aren't Catholic, so we felt a little out of place, but it was still good.
After church we all went over to Jennifer's house to have WAFFLES!!! Blueberry Waffles. See, Nick and I were supposed to go see Despicable Me at the Sunday Matinee. Well Jennifer's cousin Cory was in town and they all wanted something to do that day and they decided to go to the mills and invited Nick and I.
We all ended up going go-karting at the mills and seeing Despicable Me (sorry Hannah). As we were standing in line for the go-karts Nick is really building himself up, saying that he is going to dominate. He spots the car he wants, and as we go to get in line a little girl ends up taking it!
I proceed to pick my car and we're off.
I lapped him.
TWICE.
It was a great victory that I will never let him live down.
HAHA. Well, you'd better just go see it with me for your THIRD time! lol
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you had such a great time. (:
And I wouldn't ask for anything less for you.
