It's weird to think that within a year I will have gone to school in Oregon and then be in Africa. I've never done anything as crazy and spontaneous as this, even though I haven't done it yet.
I'm EXTREMELY excited for it all. I'm excited to meet new and wonderful people. I'm excited to have the Oregon and the Ugandan culture under my belt. I'm excited to see the world and the beautiful places God has created.
Then there comes moments of doubt and nervousness. It's scary to think I'll be doing this on my own, without my friends there beside me. With this also comes a sense of freedom that I've never truly felt before. That's not to say that I'm 100% ecstatic about that fact either.
I can't wait to be immersed in another culture and learn from them.
